Web Design

gearsEven more than in the past, customers and supporters expect to interact with your organization.

They’re not the well behaved consumers of yore who absorbed ads and became fans of your brand. Now, people want to be able to talk back to you. Indeed, only if you listen to them will they listen to you in the first place.

I wanted to let you know how pleased everyone at Valley Conservation Council has been with the quality of the website and the very helpful service you’ve provided. Not all designers are also great communicators. You asked the right questions, helped us think through what we needed, and gave us the training and support necessary to migrate to a new system. Thank you for working with us to build a site that grow and adapt to meet our needs for years to come.
– John Eckman, Executive Director, Valley Conservation Council

Make it truly interactive

Marketing today is all interactive, whether it’s online or in person. Everywhere, people want to be part of communities and they want to have conversations.

When it comes to the internet, fortunately it’s becoming easier and easier to have two-way conversations with your audiences.

And it all starts with your website. It needs to look good, so that people will trust you.

WordPress logoDesigned in WordPress, an open-source content management system famed for its ease-of-use, all our sites are also easy to update and easy to grow — with no need for programming, coding, or technical knowledge.

Once it looks good, your website needs to do so much more.  Of course, it needs to be optimized for search engines and linked from other sites so that your audiences can find you. Sure, multimedia is good.  Fresh content is a must to get people to come back. And a way for visitors to start a conversation with you, whether it’s commenting on your blog or becoming your Facebook friend, is becoming the new norm.

We recommend building social media into your website marketing from the beginning. See our social media campaign page for more ideas. Starting an email newsletter may also be worthwhile.

Finally, you may want to consider online PR, reaching out to bloggers and reviewers, and online ads, whether pay-per-click or visual display.

We offer everything you need to create and grow a community of your audiences online:

  • Design of new websites and re-design of existing websites
  • Writing copy and producing multimedia content
  • Search engine optimization
  • Soliciting inbound links to your site
  • Establishing social networking presence
  • Designing e-news format and content
  • Training you to maintain your website or maintaining it for you
  • Online PR and advertising
