By now, most readers may be aware of Erik’s recent book release, The Solar Sales Leap: Stop Knocking on Doors, Cold Calling, and Start Using the Power of the Internet to Grow Your Solar Business for the Long Term.
Well here’s more good news: The book is now available on Kindle and for a limited time we’re offering a free preview of the book so you can get a sample before buying. Check it out here:
An Amazing Education
And let me tell you my own experience with this book.
As Erik’s wife it probably seems like I’m biased. Okay, I do find him sexy, smart, and fun BUT that doesn’t make him perfect. And even though we work together on solar marketing, he’s the one who could talk about solar sales all day, every day, every week, all year when after a while I’m more like, “Uh, okay. You want to watch The Gilmore Girls with me now?”
Still, I have to say, as the editor of his book (writing, editing, and designing being more my forte than solar per se), I learned SO MUCH about solar sales and marketing that in the end, my own skills in solar blog writing and even communicating solar issues and ideas in general went through the roof.
Erik has always been a great teacher and coach. He teaches writing classes at our local college. And in our business, he coaches ssolar companies from Long Island to Los Angeles on upping their online game in solar marketing and sales.
To that end, the book has helped me in coaching the emerging solar companies and solar salespersons I work with in our subsidiary company Solar Sales Rocket, and it’s made me more fluent in the language of digital solar marketing across the board — a must have credential to get valuable solar leads that you yourself own!
But don’t take my word for it. There are already two five star reviews of his book on Amazon:
The PV industry is evolving at a very fast pace. One can easily get distracted by the overwhelming number of marketing avenues. Curren has zeroed in on key focal points that will help anyone involved in marketing maintain an unobstructed path to success.

In an age of digital advertisement overload, Curren’s book cuts through the clutter, and provides the reader with a clear roadmap for solar marketing success. Using specific real world examples, Curren identifies and outlines strategies for successful inbound marketing that will benefit any solar company for the long term.
